Our connection with Heart for the City (Dr. John Fuder) is sparking initiative in "exegeting" the city and seeking the most profitable modes of ministry.
We desire to learn from those living in the community to best understand the needs.
We hope to network with other churches and community leaders to strategically mobilize God's people.
We yearn to creatively invest in ministry that touches people's lives in both the here and now and for eternity.
We long to engage in holistic forms of ministry that empower people with dignity.
We recognize that our desires require much patience and humility. Our prayer is centered upon Micah 6:8, "And what does the Lord require of you? To act justlyand to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."
We pray that God gives us discernment, initiative, and creativity in this longing.
